Profile & Skills Summary
An Ecoentrepreneur and self-confessed Pragmatic Planner with a passion for sustainable living, I bring a unique and compelling perspective to any project. An array of practical experience confers high versatility in the workplace and the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to a given situation.
My tertiary education has provided me with a systemic understanding of humanities critical challenges, a sturdy foundation for critical analysis, and creative problem solving with complex problems. I have a strong personal identity and can articulate my values clearly, one-on-one and as a public speaker. I posses excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary contexts. My true passion and life’s work is regenerative planning and design; engaging with and mobilising people and communities to articulate shared vision in the transition towards sustainability.
I aim to eventually be self-employed, creatively engaged in formulating solutions to contemporary problems with regard to sustainability concerns. I would like to be part of a multidisciplinary team, providing sustainable living options. I also have a strong desire to establish myself a sustainable lifestyle in New Zealand, whereby I can be as self-reliant as possible and in so doing generate options, opportunity and genuine-wealth for my family and wider community.
I am currently undertaking post-graduate studies to obtain a Masters of Regional Planning (MRP) on a part time basis. I am due to submit a dissertation in March 2008.
